Vamedecum Introduction
Welcome to the digital Vademecum on Eurythmy Therapy!
This vademecum on the treatment of various symptoms and clinical pictures with eurythmy therapy is aimed at accredited experts in eurythmy therapy and interested physicians but not at the general public.
As an independent form of therapy, Eurythmy Therapy is one of the main interventions of Anthroposophic Medicine. It has existed since 1915 with the first curative indications for eurythmy exercises. This information and all others were recorded in the standard work by Dr. Margarete Kirchner-Bockholt and, along with other publications, form the basis of eurythmy therapy to this day. Over the course of time, the medical view of many illnesses has changed and new symptom complexes have been added. Rudolf Steiner's suggestions, most of which were given individually at the time, have developed further over the 100 years of practice. Valuable positive experiences are made on a daily basis with traditional and new exercises, which are, however, not accessible to the medical-therapeutic community.
Based on the medical vademecum, a eurythmy therapy vademecum is to be created as a lively digital exchange forum in which everyone can participate.
Current Eurythmy Therapy treatment experiences for specific illnesses are collected from actively working colleagues from all over the world in the form of treatment sheets and short case descriptions. These can emphasise the statements in the treatment sheet.
This project has just started with the first examples. Therefore, we are looking forward to your experience: Write a treatment sheet too, with or without a case description, or even just a case description!
You can find more information under "Participate" on the Vacdemecum homepage.
The clinical pictures and sounds are in alphabetical order.
